White wash

this is an amazing shot, not because it is an intense sunset, a blurred river river, a colorful sky, or an overdone HDR. instead it is something rarely encountered here on DA even amongst the top: 'elegance'

this is posibly the most elegant shot i have encountered here on DA. the composition is nice, but simple, with the fog creating a very good sense of depth, and the foreground makes for a very effective negative space.

but what i really love is the black and white. it simplifies this shot so much, but instead of reducing it, the simplicity adds so much. add the high key exposure, contrasting with the trees on the left, and you have a most elegant piece, that wihtout a doubt establishes this as proper art.
